For me, this song holds the emotion of limitless eternal space where we exist free and with ease, while time is gracefully passing us by through mundane, repetitive, everyday actions; thinking, sleeping, moving, breathing, dancing, doubting, existing... the ones we often take for granted, but are the foundation for everything magical and grand that unfolds. Because without these, we wouldn't be able to recognise the glimpses of inexplicable joy or sorrow when they come our way.
Caught up between what is happening internally and externally, allowing ourselves and the inevitably fleeting time, to save the sentiment of all things we've cherished, loved, lost, got excited by, that made us grow, smile, burst into tears or feel ashamed. Ones that made us so passionate and driven... And the others for which we are telling ourselves were not as rare nor special in order to get over them more easily. It's about that space of calm, acceptance and empathy where we can float in the universe of possibilities and hope.
No matter how safe and comfortable that ethereal space is, the song comes to an end, invoking the reminder that there is still a real world out there, waiting on us to step into it courageously and connect with one another...To embrace all the beauty, love, redirection and hardship that it may bring, and to be grateful for it.
